A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of a Kenosha man whose body was found in his burning home.
Police said Chrystul Kizer shot 34-year-old Randall Volar III and then set his house on fire June 5. She then reportedly bragged on social media about shooting someone in the hours after the man's death.
"The defendant posted a live video on her page in which the defendant herself displayed what appeared to be a handgun and pistol ammunition," the criminal complaint says. Her Facebook page had also shared an article about the fire at the man's home.
At the teen's bond hearing, Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley said investigators believe the girl shot Volar twice in the head as he sat in a chair in his home.
The criminal complaint states that Kizer told police, "she had gotten upset, and she was tired of Mr. Volar touching her."
Bond was set at $1 million.
Kizer is also charged with use of a dangerous weapon, taking and driving a vehicle without consent, arson, bail jumping and possession of a firearm.
