Emerald Harmony debuts on the Mekong River in August 2019. She’s the newest vessel from Emerald Waterways and the first of the line’s “Star Ships” to launch outside of Europe.
She’s like no other vessel currently plying the Mekong.
Emerald Harmony accommodates 84 guests in 42 staterooms and suites. She’ll bring a number of features from the line’s European “Star Ships” to the Mekong. Among them, the 273-square foot Panorama Suites with drop-down windows. She’ll also have four 398 square-foot Grand Balcony Suites. And, two 450 square-foot Owner’s Suites will feature wrap-around terraces and private hot tubs.
In a nod to her location, Emerald Harmony will combine a Southeast Asian ambiance with the amenities of a boutique hotel. Public spaces include the Asian-themed Horizon Bar & Lounge, the Lotus Lounge at the front of the Vista Deck and a pool on the Aft Deck. The main dining venue, Reflections Restaurant, will offer regional as well as Western specialties.
But, Emerald Harmony’s most distinctive feature is her exterior design. She’ll be able to access the center of Ho Chi Minh City, unlike most other river vessels on the market. That proximity provides guests with a more intimate experience in the landmark Southeast Asian city.
Emerald Harmony will offer three different cruise and tour packages between Vietnam and Cambodia.
The 13-day Majestic Mekong river cruise and tour travels from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap. The 17-day Treasures & Temples of Vietnam & Cambodia river cruise and tour adds stops in Hanoi and the stunning Halong Bay in the north of Vietnam. And, the 21-day Grand Tour of Vietnam & Cambodia river cruise and tour features Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Hue and Siem Reap.
Itinerary highlights of the Emerald Harmony itineraries include the culturally-rich Mekong Delta region, a lifeline connecting the ancient with the modern. Guests will visit the family-owned Lanh My A Silk factory and quaint My An Hung village. Cambodia’s capital of Phnom Penh offers the elaborate Royal Palace complex and the tragic reminders of the Khmer Rouge regime at the Killing Fields. While, Siem Reap is a gateway to the world’s largest temple complex (and UNESCO World Heritage Site), of Angkor Wat.
Part of Australia’s Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Emerald Waterways is known for the all-inclusiveness of its cruise fares. Emerald Harmony bookings include ship transfers, port charges, meals, unlimited wine and beer with lunch and dinner, bottled water in the cabins, complimentary Wi-Fi, at least one shore excursion in every port and all onboard and excursion gratuities. Additionally, hotel, internal flights and transfers are also included during the land portion of the tour.
