Moorea’s rugged landscapes beckon visitors who want to explore deep into the heart of the Tahitian island, but with Enjoy Moorea, a 4X4 island adventures, visitors get access to a secret beach.
Enjoy Moorea is an ideal way to for visitors to explore the island beyond just the average circle island tour. It hits the requisite spots that many other operators explore but adds a few more to create a rugged adventure.
The highlight of the journey is a visit to Temae, a private beach where visitors are served fresh seafood and island fruit for a delicious lunch.
The white-sand beach has rocky outcropping with small tide pools and subtle waves. Visitors have time to stroll the shoreline and view sea life, swim in the calm water or just relax in a serene, private setting.
The trip also includes a visit to Magic Mountain to get a panoramic view of the surroundings. From atop the mountain, guests experience some of the best views of the island and Opanuhu Bay.
Guests also go into the crater of the island, created by a now inactive volcano. Inside the valley guests stop for pictures on a pineapple plantation and learn the history of pineapple growing on the island and how cultivation takes place.
Enjoy Moorea also brings guests to Afareaitu for a short 15-minute hike to a waterfall in the valley.
A stop at a vanilla plantation and a journey to the Belvedere, the highest point of view on Moorea, are also part of the six-hour trip.
