A new independent luxury hotel is preparing to open at the threshold to the famed Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys.
The 199-room Isla Bella Beach Resort, scheduled to be complete in early 2019, will be part of The Singh Company’s hospitality portfolio.
The resort will be located on a 24-acre property on Knights Key in Marathon, Florida, and is to be the first full service, luxury hotel in the community. It will also be the single largest newly built, private waterfront hotel or resort in all of the Florida Keys, and the first new resort built since Hurricane Irma hit the destination in 2017.
In addition to nearly one mile of private beach, the resort will feature elevated design, a full-service spa, four food and beverage concepts, five swimming pools, and more than 24,000 square feet of meeting space. There will also be a marketplace, fitness center, on-site water sports, fishing pier, and a marina.
“From its unparalleled location to its private shoreline to an intuitive and luxurious design, Isla Bella Beach Resort will be the crown jewel of The Singh Company’s portfolio,” Pritam Singh, The Singh Company founder, said in a statement. “Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege to help shape the hospitality landscape of the Florida Keys and am excited and honored by the opportunity to bring an experience like Isla Bella to the middle keys. As the hospitality industry continues to rapidly evolve, we strive to not just meet but exceed guest expectations and deliver authentic, destination-specific experiences that are luxurious, comfortable and most of all memorable.”
The resort, which is just over two hours from Miami and one hour from Key West, also includes a 200-foot private sandy beach. Each guest room meanwhile, will provide ocean views.
The property also includes fire pits, beachside games such as bocce and croquet and complimentary bicycles, on-site watersports, guided fishing expeditions and more.
