The 2018 Geneva Motor Show was a display of decadence. From powerful sports sedans, err, coupes like the Mercedes AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, to fanciful tuners and concepts, this cosmopolitan event shows off the car industry's most exuberant side. After days of exhaustive coverage, we select our favorites.

2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe: Fifth Place (15 points)

Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski: I hate the name, because there's no such thing as a four-door coupe, and I actually think the CLS is a bit better looking. Still, the GT is sweet, and in top-level 63 S model is going to be an absolute riot from behind the wheel.

Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: I love this creased, swoopy four-door. The fastback design, huge wheels and slatted grille work together to form one of the more balanced designs in recent memory on a super sedan. I agree with JK, the 63 S variant (630 hp) is going to be epic!

Porsche Mission E Cross Tursimo: Fourth Place (18 Points)

Senior Editor (Green) John Beltz Snyder: Porsche. Electric. Wagon. That’s all you need to know.

Manager, Production Eddie Sabatini: Reminds me of an electrified Audi All Road. Sign me up.

Associate Editor Reese Counts: Surprise of the show. Forget the fact that Porsche is calling this a crossover. It's a high-riding wagon, similar to the Audi Allroad. It also has 600 horsepower. So it's a fast, handsome Porsche wagon. I'm sold.

2019 Land Rover Range Rover Coupe SV: Third Place (20 Points)

Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: I love the many flavors of "coupe" in Geneva, but this one at least has two doors. It's a great look. Sort of like a shooting brake SUV. How many genres can we work in here? Regardless, it's cool.

Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale: Though I find its coupe descriptor a bit silly, the new two-door Range Rover gets everything else spot-on. It's proportioned just right, the custom interior options are unique and interesting, and there's something about it that just looks and feels special.

Part of that may be the high price tag and limited production. But the Range Rover also excites me because it's a sign that Land Rover (and Jaguar) are ready and willing able to make crazy niche products that would never see the light of day at another car company. That's awesome.

2019 Jaguar I-Pace: Second Place (23 Points)

Senior Editor (Green) John Beltz Snyder: Wonderfully executed, the Jaguar I-Pace is further evidence that EVs can be sporty and aspirational without being built completely of unobtanium.

Senior Editor Alex Kierstein: It looks sharp, and EV powertrains are fundamentally good enough that you can't really mess up the driving dynamics: torque, torque and more torque. If Jaguar nails the brake feel, this is going to be a heck of a stylish and fun runabout. 240 miles of claimed range also makes it eminently useable.

RUF SCR: First Place (24 Points)

It was a nail-biter, but the editors gave top honors to RUF's throw-back creation. There's logic, and then there's emotion. — Ed.

Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski: Love, love, love. Except that terrible Alcantara-smothered interior. It'd be a complete carbon fiber masterpiece if only RUF had kept the fuzzy mouse fur to the headliner and some trim and gave us a proper luxury finish inside.

Associate Editor Reese Counts: It looks absolutely phenomenal, especially in this deep green. It looks like a classic Porsche 911, but it uses a completely custom chassis, helping reduce weight and improve handling. It's also fitted with a 510-hp 4.0-liter water-cooled flat-six. At $650,000, it's nowhere close to cheap, but it sure is special.

Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: It's gorgeous and nostalgic, and in this age of autonomy and EVs, a water-cooled, Porsche-styled car that traces its lineage back 40 years is a worthy winner.
